INDIRECT SERVICE

As an alternative to providing crisis line and in-person advocacy, RVAP offers other opportunities to make a difference. These include:

Conducting research and literature searches
Assisting RVAP staff in setting up and staffing information tables
Assisting with RVAP marketing efforts
Planning a fundraiser
Writing editorials
Distributing posters and brochures
Participating in a RVAP sponsored event
Assisting with Sexual Assault Awareness Month activities
Lending expertise to train RVAP volunteers and/or staff
Contacting lawmakers about issues and legislation that impact sexual assault victims
