RVAP SERVICES

RVAP provides comprehensive sexual assault services to victims/survivors and their significant others, as well as information and referrals for professionals, educators, and members of the community. RVAP provides services to individuals in Johnson, Cedar, Iowa, and Washington Counties in Iowa. RVAP also staffs the Iowa Sexual Abuse Hotline for all citizens of Iowa.  All services are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL.


All communication between clients and RVAP staff is confidential under Iowa Law and will not be disclosed except  in rare circumstances.

In some instances involving danger and/or risk of imminent harm to yourself or specifically identified others, child abuse, or dependent adult abuse, RVAP staff might be required to disclose certain information to protect you and/or others.

Special accommodations include 24-hour access to Relay Iowa for the deaf and hard of hearing, and Optimal Phone Interpreters for confidential language access.
